My Approach
My ideal client would be someone who struggles with feeling comfortable in their body or in their mind. This can be a person who is tired of chronically dieting while continuing to feel unhappy with how they look, someone who struggles with anxious thoughts or feelings of depression, or someone experiencing feelings of shame, sadness, guilt, or anger. I enjoy navigating the hard work that client’s do in therapy alongside them, and working with them to reach a space of acceptance and comfort.

I have experience working in the areas of childhood trauma and attachment, as well as a special interest in anxiety and body image struggles. I have knowledge around Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating, and training in chronic dieting.

I know that it can be very difficult to begin the process of going to therapy, and I would be honored to help walk you through such a difficult yet rewarding process. It can be very intimidating to share such personal and sometimes scary parts of ourselves with others, and so I make sure that I come at this work from a space of acceptance and understanding.
